Total Cuteness

I finally got a chance to visit with Mandy in her new home and have a photo session with the latest addition to the family. Alex was an amazing little model, patient, even tempered and always ready to strike a pose.my hands

Fingers, toes, books. Everything intrigued this young man.

WonderAnd nearby was his ever watchful Batman to protect him.

Greens

I was cooking my breakfast. I looked at a lovely plate of blanched baby kale, dresses with a light sesame and tamari dressing and topped with arrugula micro greens and thought what a lovely picture. I decided to make a photo essay of a days meals. Here is how it unfolded. You click on each photo for a enlarged view.

I spent time with Max, Mandy and Marie to get started on next weeks homework assignment for Nicole’s Classes Photo 101. I’m working on portraits and I couldn’t have had a more fun group.

Thanks, Mandy for setting up our play date.

I’m taking an online photography class with Nicole’s Classes. Yes, I do a lot of photography but I have never been brave enough to shoot strictly in manual settings. It’s been a fun week. Three more to go.

fast shutter speed

This was taken with a fast shutter speed to freeze motion. Please note it was also taken before the storm that is dropping 2 feet of snow here. Happy shoveling all you metro Boston folks.

It’s PTI 6th anniversary. I decided to do a Valentine card that coincided with a color challenge.

puppy valentine

I used Tremendous Treats Valentine stamps and die for the card and PTI’s envelope liner as well.
