Stamp Club is meeting this Wednesday. Since I was working on my project to bring to this meeting, I thought I would mention this event that I have been attending once a month for the last two years. We meet at Ink About It in Westford, MA. It isĀ one of my favorite stamping and paper supply stores.
On our first meeting we were given a plain spiral bound notebook from Staples to alter in any way we liked. With a little bit of paint, some stamps and a few ribbons, I altered my pad.
My notebook is always in my supply tote. It has everything from scribbled ideas to paint and ink colors I own and things on my wish list.
This month we are doing something a little different. Both the morning and evening groups are meeting together. We each have to bring something we made for a Yankee swap.
I used some of the hand painted and stamped fabric I made from my summer journal. With a little quilting and embellishing I turned it into an eye glass case.
The case came together very quickly. It gives me some time to continue to finalize the journal.
Tomorrow I am riding shot gun to Donna and Pete’s house in Hingham to pick up and escort Michael’s cat Tiger back home after an extended stay in Plymouth. Pete keeps pigeons. They are quite spectacular in their variety and color. Once I got past the smell, I had trouble stopping my photo session.
