It's a wrap

It’s that time of year where we are wrapping it up literally. I have gotten so much inspiration from viewing other bloggers present their holiday creations and ideas. I want to thank all the creative women and some men for their generosity in sharing their work on the web. It always gives me brand new ways of looking at things.

Here are a few of my gift wraps. Can you see inspiration from One Lucky Day or perhaps this crinkled flower tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers ?

Joy to the World and Joy to all those who blog and share their card crafting. Have a peaceful Holiday Season.

The inspiration for this month comes from cover art on books.

I loved the colors in the Wizard of Oz cover. Here is what I came up with for this month.

I used the Memory Box Party Lanterns die and aPTI sentiment stamp from Signature Greetings and Martha Stewart papers.

I love these colors. I’m sure I wouldn’t have come up with this combo on my own. Thank you PTI for coming up with this months project and thank you all who came by to take a look.

It’s that scary time of year. I made my Halloween cards and sent them out. Thanks to Frankenstorm Sandy, I’m not sure when they  will arrive.

The first two are for Friends with Pets. The last is one made with new Tim Holtz Halloween dies.

This card used a combination of Inkadinkadoo stamps, Martha Stewart stamps, and My Favorite Things stamps and punches as well as a new label die from Simon Says.

Here I jazzed up the simple black and white with an ornate Valencia Border Memory Box die.

Here is a card that resulted from a trip to Ink About It to pick up an Art Journal. These Tim Holtz Halloween dies had just arrived. It was hard to resist these kids. I put them on a long gate fold card.

Have a Happy Halloween!

I had two birthdays to make cards for this month, one male and one female.

The background border was made with Memory Box Bubble Dot die. The girl is a Hampton Art ABC Primer 3 stamp. The calendar was made using Precious Remebrance Calendar stamp set.

Here is a close up.

The next card was for a dog owner friend whose pup has landed in a cone on occasion.

Here I used PTI’s Celebrate stamp set for the banner. The pup and sentiment was Skipping Stones stamp set Dogs Vol. 1.

Some detail.

Now it’s on to Halloween Cards. Thanks for stopping by.

CFC66:  Create a project featuring something you might see in or at the ocean

This new CAS-ual Friday challenge gave me a chance to use some new dies and stamps.

The bubbles are made using Memory Box’s Loopy Rings die. The fish stamps, die and sentiment are W plus 9 “Fish More”set. I love this little set.

Thanks for looking. Have a great week end. Summer is almost over. Gulp!

Here is my take on this week’s challenge.
I made my strips of pattern by using two Memory Box dies and one Savvy die. The sentiment is by Paper Smoochies. All paper is Stampin’ Up.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week end.

Fun things going on at CAS-ual Fridays. This week it’s CFC56: Create a Clean And Simple project using polka dots. I have always been drawn to polka dots whether it’s clothing, accessories or paper. I own more than my fair share. Rather than the obvious patterned paper, I chose a die to make my dots.

Materials used: Memory Box Bubble Dots die, Darcy stamps for the sentiment and image and Heidi Swapp flower embellishments.

Thanks for taking a look.
