I got a request to use a zentangle on this blog for advertising a summer class for teens in zentangling. I realized it had been quite a while since I had done any. A brand new notebook and some web browsing got me fired up again. Here are the results for this week.

Happy New Year to all my blog viewers. May your year be tangled with love, good health, and peace in 2011.

This afternoon I zentangled a pair of my blue jeans. I used an 08 micron black pen, opaque white paint and a brown fabric marker so that the they would match my decorated clogs.

Wishing all my blog viewers the very best of Holidays and a grand 2010!

I taught my first Zentangle class at Ink About It. The fifteen students were amazing. Their skills and the ideas that emerged in just two hours was something to behold.

This was an example of a card I made using Zentangles that I brought to class.

This Thanksgiving I ended up doing an impromtu demontration of Zentangles for two of my nephews and one niece. The boys took to these drawings with amazing speed and skill. My niece, who is still in kindergarten, decided that she prefered giving me instructions. I was ordered to follow  along exactly as she made lines and swirls and loops. She then abruptly left, declaring she would rather play with Legos.
