Make It Monday #65: Background Patterns From Patterned Paper Scraps

This weeks challenge came together very quickly. I usually store my paper scraps by color family in plastic bins. I gave myself the challenge of just picking up scraps off my work table that I hadn’t yet sorted. You may recognize some of the papers if you just scroll through pictures of my more recent cards.

I pieced five patterned papers together and then die cut them using Papertrey’s Card Base-ics #2. This layer went on a standard card. Papertry die Spiral Notebook page was inserted in the center and held a sentiment from PTI’s Happy Trails stamp set.

The card was finished with brown and cream linen twine for the bow and the ties on the buttons.
